As of this morning, Boston Offline now has a YouTube channel which can be seen at http://youtube.com/BostonOfflinedotcom.  This is a great extension of the concept behind the photo gallery, to capture an essence of the city’s many ethnic events. Expect video clips from the Puerto Rican parade later today and the Dominican and Caribbean parades and Hip Hop Festival in coming weeks.

The city’s fourth annual Peace Boston 2007, a free outdoor Hip-Hop Festival, will take place on Saturday, August 4, from 4 – 8pm on City Hall Plaza, featuring headliners Slick Rick and De La Soul.

The 9th Annual Roxbury Film Festival will take place August 1-5, 2007.  Co-produced by ACT Roxbury and the Color of Film Collaborative, events will take place at venues around the city including the Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall.

We will be vending at the Boston Soul Music Festival (formerly Collaborative cookout) on July 21 at Umass Boston. More details to follow as the date draws near.

[Update] The festival will be held from 12-7pm with performances by Raheem Devaugh, Dwele, Noel Gourdin, Choklate, Ahmir and Yahzarah.
