Happenings: Boston Caribbean Festival Update
This is an event happening tomorrow (Friday) before Saturday’s Carnival sent to me in an email today:
“Water Colors? Boston Carnival Music Sound Festival @ Franklin Park Zoo. The main entrance is off of Blue Hill Avenue.
Entertainment includes 20 Sounds, 4 Sound Stages Representing Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Barbados, and Jamaica, The DJ’s are from Boston and some are traveling from NYC as well. There will also be fashion stage and a Color water tank. This is an all age event. I saw no dollar signs on the fliers so I am assuming it is free but please walk with cash just in case…
Gates open at 6:00 PM”
For those viewing this site from out of state, the actual carnival is Saturday from 12-7pm running from MLK Blvd down Warren St and into Blue Hill Ave. ending at Franklin Park.
Like last year, I will be out there snapping pics for the photo gallery and taking some clips for YouTube.
